Welcome to the website for Feline Aid.

Feline Aid was set up in 2022 to try and fill a gap once Twinkle Trust reduced their presence on the Island of Fuerteventura.

Non-profit making and totally funded by donations we are predominantly here to alleviate pain and suffering to the street cats and provide a trap/neuter and release programme where funds allow.

We primarily use Species veterinarians in Caleta and Bichos in Puerto del Rosario, or one of the emergency veterinarians if there is an out of hours call.

We also manage various ‘cat cafes’ in Caleta de Fuste and work closely with the Harbour cats.

Our volunteer team is never big enough, and we are always looking to recruit more helpers.

There is a large range of different activities from helping directly with the cats, to administration or assisting with the weekly market stall. Fund raising, or collecting items for the market, so if you think you can help, even for one hour a week please do get in touch, and we will find you something to do.

All our volunteers carry ID, so feel free to approach any of them for information.

Every so often we have cats for adoption, and litters of kittens needing homes.
